EdTech Jalada: An Early Happy Holidays..... and other good things!

Hello Reader,

Is it just me, or has this year flown by?

This year has cemented a profound truth for me: The future of education is too important to build alone. It will take all of us—passionate educators, entrepreneurs, researchers, investors, and policymakers—working together to make learning better, smarter, and more accessible for every student. As we wind down this year, Let’s be grounded in this: It’s not the Technology. It’s about learning.

Habari Reader Three newsletters ago I introduced myself to you as the curator of Jalada. It has been a wonderful few months and I am now writing longer pieces on our blog. Losing lives is akin to losing our future, our collective dreams, our country. It is sad. As we fight for our rights and dignified living, I pray that the cost does not continue to be our...

Uhuru! On June 1, 1963 Mzee Jomo Kenyatta was sworn in as Kenya’s first Prime Minister, taking the reins of power from the British Colonialists. He started his speech with an energetic salutation, "UHURU!" It has been 62 years since Kenya attained self rule, on this day we call, Madaraka! What does Madaraka mean to you? Is it power? freedom? independence? or all of the above? Find out what's happening, opportunities, and resources in the EdTech Space in Africa. Please forward EdTech Jalada to...
